Purpose: This research investigates the role of effective organizational management, entrepreneurial orientation, and managerial accounting innovation in fostering business success among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Northeastern Thailand's property development market. Method: A quantitative research approach was employed, involving 400 entrepreneurs from real estate firms in Northeastern Thailand between January and March 2024. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Path Analysis through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results and Discussions: The findings indicate significant relationships between the variables. The CFA results revealed a χ2 value of 171.07 with degrees of freedom (df) = 61, yielding a χ2/df ratio of 2.804, below the threshold of 3. The Comparative Fit Index (CFI) was 0.927, while the Tucker-Lewis Index (TLI) was 0.910. The Root Mean Square Residual (RMR) was 0.058, and the Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) was 0.067. Research Implications: In light of the rapidly evolving market conditions, SMEs in the real estate sector must prioritise adaptation and innovation to thrive in the post-COVID-19 crisis. Strategies focusing on entrepreneurial orientation and managerial accounting innovation can empower SMEs to capitalise on emerging opportunities and navigate challenges effectively. Originality/Value: This study contributes valuable insights into the strategies and practices essential for SMEs in the real estate sector to achieve sustainable growth and resilience amidst the evolving market dynamics and challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis.

Firms can achieve trinomial sustainability goals if they can constantly build and rejuvenate their capabilities to adapt to new situations. However, few studies consider the interrelationships between the distinct capabilities pertinent to sustainable development and the impact of these capabilities on firm performance under diverse contexts, especially in emerging economies. Drawing on dynamic capability theory, we developed a model to test the links between dynamic sustainability capability, theorized as a higher order capability, and relational and managerial capabilities, theorized as lower order capabilities, to the firm's sustainability performance. Data collected from 210 large Indian manufacturing firms is analyzed using PLS‐SEM. Results confirm that dynamic sustainability capability has facilitating effects on environmental and social performance directly and indirectly through managerial capability. Although relational capability partially mediates the link between dynamic sustainability capability and social performance, it does not impact environmental performance. Further, the aforementioned relationships are affected by forces in the firms' environment. Most of the direct and indirect relationships are negatively moderated by organizational inertia and positively moderated by environmental turbulence. By investigating the hierarchically structured capabilities, this study guides firms to make strategic choices regarding resource calibration for sustainability. The study recommends that organizations looking to integrate dynamic sustainability capability as part of their strategic management should look at the sequential combinations of existing resources to achieve different sustainability targets. The study's findings also urge policymakers to consider environmental conditions while developing sustainability reforms.

The current study examines the relationship between authentic leadership and sustainable behavior intention among employees. We also tested employee engagement as a mediator and environmental value as a boundary condition in Danish manufacturing firms. The data from 346 respondents were obtained using time‐lagged and multi‐respondent techniques, and the data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results revealed that authentic leadership directly impacts sustainable behavior intentions whereas cognitive and behavioral employee engagement mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and sustainable behavioral intentions. Additionally, environmental values strengthen the positive relationship between employee engagement's cognitive and behavioral dimensions and sustainable behavioral intentions. This study advances the social exchange theory by empirically testing the beneficial effects of authentic leadership and employee engagement on the intention to engage in sustainable behavior. We also propose that practitioners emphasize authentic leadership as it can foster employees' environmental values and sustainable behavior intentions that are helpful for the organization's and society's sustainability.
