Atomic-Absorption Spectroscopy—A Critical Review

Abstract: Atomic-absorption spectroscopy is reviewed as an analytical technique. The effect of recent instrumental advances on analytical procedures is reported. It is now possible to determine every metal and semimetal for which lamps have been made. Analytical procedures by atomic absorption are generalized and limitations of the technique stated.
