“…In the series by Mills et al, 26 the cervical adenocarcinoma in a known LS patient was shown to be MMR-IHC intact and hence most probably a sporadic tumour. The work by Antill et al 44 is interesting, but is limited by lack of access to diagnostic material for contemporary work-up and classification of these lesions. In terms of grossing recommendations in a research setting the cervix could be examined in toto, but practically, in the absence of a visible lesion, we suggest taking four sections, one anterior, one posterior, one right and one left lateral.…”
