Abstract: Metabolic abnormalities are serious health problems in individuals with schizophrenia. “…The causal association between clozapine treatment and hyperlipidemia is further confirmed in discontinuation studies, when increased triglyceride levels in clozapine-treated patients resolve follow switching to another antipsychotic (116).
