Association between obesity and clinical prognosis in patients infected with SARS-CoV-2

Abstract: Background: It is well established that obesity is a disease of sustained low-grade inflammation. However, it is currently unknown if obesity plays a role in the clinical manifestations and prognosis of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infected patients.
