The automotive industry is known to increase exports since 2015 and is predicted to continue to grow. To develop the industry, the government is known to issue several schemes, and one of them is in the form of mandatory rules for partnerships with the small and medium industrial sectors. However, there is no industrial, institutional map seen from various aspects, including technology, human resources, information, and organization. This map is essential and useful for stakeholders to develop the industry because it provides more directed assistance.In this study, the small and medium industries for processing metal automotive components in Tegal City are used as mapping objects. The technometric method is used to calculate the level of technology contribution they have. The results of this study indicate that the four aspects covering Technoware, Humanware, Infoware, and Orgaware for small and medium-sized automotive component processing industries in Tegal City are in a reasonable range. For improvement or guidance, production facility technology is the priority. Then proceed to employee competencies, information systems, and organizational management. Mapping should be done regularly every five years or less than five years as an evaluation.

This research aims to calculate the value of the Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC) and determine the priority of technology component improvement in the development of the Indonesia-Cable Based Tsunameter (INA-CBT) Tsunami Early Warning System (TEWS) conducted by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Research Center for Electronics (RCE). In this study, the Technometrics model is used to calculate the technology contribution of technology components and TCC, while Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to calculate the value of the technology contribution intensity of technology components. The results showed that the TCC value of the RCE is 0.55 (Good). With the state-of-the-art value of 1, the RCE still has the opportunity to make improvements, especially on Infoware components with the lowest contribution value, to increase TCC. In calculating the technology contribution intensity, Infoware obtained the highest score of 0.447 compared to other technology components, therefore Infoware needs to be prioritized for improvement so that it is expected that the management of RCE can increase the quality and accuracy of the engineering design and simulation stage because it is a critical point in the development of INA-CBT.

The innovation of electric motorcycle swap-battery (EMSB) technology encourages the formation of a new ecosystem at the early stage of the supply chain. The EMSB technology has allowed an open innovation system with collaboration between supply-chain players, universities, and the government for finding a thriving solution to enable the faster adoption and diffusion of EMSB in Indonesia. Standardization is seen as a way to accelerate the downstream EMSB technology innovation to leverage the economic benefits and to support the growth of a green economy in Indonesia. This study aimed to propose a model with which to measure the technology readiness of the EMSB’s stakeholders in implementing the swappable battery (SB) standard. We developed the technometric framework and Economic Benefits of Standards—ISO Methodology 2.0. We generated 13 criteria of technoware, humanware, inforware, and orgaware and 21 indicators of the standard’s impacts to be utilized as a measurement model. We interviewed 11 respondents consisting of the standard regulator, research and development center, manufacturer, testing labs, and product-certification bodies. The results show the technology contribution coefficient (TCC) and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) value representing the SB standard’s feasibility. The proposed model can evaluate the weak points and propose strategies to leverage the SB standard’s technology readiness and economic benefits.
