Assessment an antibacterial activity of crud bodies, Ailolopus thaiossinus (Orthoptera) and Polistes watti larvae (Hymenoptera) by extracted cold and boiled solvents

Abstract: Todays, insects as adults and immaturs are in focusing of researching new pharmaceutical compounds. Especially, those under habit and habitat stressors. However, insect body extracts have antibacterial activity to current antibiotic resistant bacteria. After the extraction by sequential solvent method, bacterial growth inhibition of dry bodies the insects: grass hopper, Ailolopus thaiossinus, larvae of paper wasp, Polistes watti and standard antibiotic drug Ceftriaxone (CRO) as positive control against the fol… Show more

“…Arthropods, especially insects, are valuable and untapped sources of bioactive compounds for modern medicine. Insects make up over 50.0% of total biodiversity and more than 80.0% of all animal diversity, inhabiting various ecological systems (Chernysh et al, 2002;Roy et al, 2015;Hassan et al, 2018;Hasaballah et al, 2019;Mekhlif 2021).…”
