Aspects regarding explosion risk assessment

Abstract: Abstract. Explosive risk occurs in all activities involving flammable substances in the form of gases, vapors, mists or dusts which, in mixture with air, can generate an explosive atmosphere. As explosions can cause human losses and huge material damage, the assessment of the explosion risk and the establishment of appropriate measures to reduce it to acceptable levels according to the standards and standards in force is of particular importance for the safety and health of people and goods

“…The requirements for machine and system monitoring and control are increasing, and, in response, so does the interest and research in the design and development of smart innovative solutions for modular explosion proof automation. Modular solutions can be designed in hazardous areas, taking into account all the various aspects of explosion protection and risk assessment [6]. In oil and gas industry, the extraction, transportation, storage, and refining are realised under extremely harsh conditions.…”
