This paper focuses on the analysis of the lexical and semantic influences of L2 (Catalan) on the L1 (Amazigh) in a basic semantic field: parts of the body. Based on the observation that our participants show differences in their L1 usage related to the amount of time they have been in contact with Catalan, our goal is to analyze and describe these differences to see if they are the consequence of a transfer from the L2 conceptual system. This paper is a qualitative study with a sample size of 14 participants whose L1 is Amazigh and who live in Catalonia. The results show that there are cases of semantic and conceptual influence, although to a lesser degree than in other studies that do not analyze data from basic semantic fields. We will also show that there are extralinguistic factors that influence these transfers (the status of the languages involved and certain characteristics of the speakers).

Résumé. Une source importante de pronoms dans un grand nombre de langues dans le monde est celle des noms désignant des concepts situés à un niveau de généralisation élevé comme chose ou personne, comme c'est le cas du pronom indéfini quelque chose et du pronom négatif personne. Haspelmath (1997) considère que, dans un grand nombre de langues, des syntagmes nominaux qui contiennent des noms généraux fonctionnent comme pronoms indéfinis, sans nécessairement appartenir à la classe des pronoms grammaticalisés. L'objectif de cette analyse est d'étudier le nom personne en français en comparaison avec ses équivalents en portugais et en allemand, ainsi que leur préférences et restrictions réferentielles afin de déterminer si, dans ces langues, ces noms sont en train de subir un processus de grammaticalisation, et si l'existence d'un pronom assez ancien issu de ce substantif comme dans le cas du français personne ou bien des processus plus récents du portugais qui voit naître un pronom impersonnel a(s) pessoa(s) font qu'en général des syntagmes non grammaticalisés deviennent plus facilement des équivalents de pronoms. L'étude sera basée sur des jugements d'acceptabilité de locuteurs français, allemands et portugais et des données de corpus. Les résultats montreront que personne est bien établi comme lexème dans le langage courant, sans signes évidents de pronominalisation, tandis que l'allemand Person montre encore des traces des emplois anciens administratifs et des restrictions importantes dans ses emplois. Le portugais pessoa est clairement en voie de pronominalisation. Ces différences s'expliquent en partie comme conséquence des contraintes des systèmes lexicaux mais aussi grammaticaux des langues analysées. Abstract. The French noun personne compared with Brazilian Portuguese pessoa and GermanPerson -nouns undergoing pronominalization? An important source for pronouns in many languages of the world are nouns designating concepts on a high level of generalization such as chose or personne, as is the case of the indefinite pronoun quelque chose and the negative pronoun personne. According to Haspelmath (1997) in many languages noun phrases with general nouns are used as indefinite pronouns, without necessarily belonging to the category of grammaticalized pronouns. The aim of this talk is to study the French noun personne compared to its Portuguese and German cognates, their referential preferences and restrictions in order to determine if in these languages these nouns are undergoing grammaticalization, and if the existence of a relatively ancient pronoun derived from this noun as in the case of French personne or if more recent processes in Portuguese where a new impersonal pronoun a(s) pessoa(s) has evolved speed up pronominalization. Our analysis will be based on acceptability judgements of native speakers of French, German and Portuguese and on corpus data.
