“…99 • Articaine is an efficient and safe LA to treat children between ages three and four. 100 • Articaine's anaesthetic success rate was significantly higher than lidocaine's and mepivacaine's for supplemental buccal infiltrations. 101 • Articaine can be used as buccal infiltration for invasive treatment of mandibular molars in children ages eight to fifteen.…”

“…Various authors suggested the use of articaine hydrochloride for local analgesia for human adults [43] and infants [44], and animals such as rats [45], cattle [46,47], and deer [26,27]. Therefore, the increasing demand for this local anaesthetic, its safety and rapid onset, encouraged us to investigate its duration of action on red deer, which is poorly studied.…”

“…The envelope was not opened by the operator until the first visit. 17 It is always decided to begin with the endocrown procedures in the first visit because it is a two-appointment procedure, while the ZC takes one-appointment only. As operator and patient blinding cannot be achieved, the treatment nature was masked for the statistician to avert detection bias.…”
