Are Hypometric Anticipatory Postural Adjustments Contributing to Freezing of Gait in Parkinson’s Disease?

“…Sendo assim, prejuízos nesta região também podem afetar diretamente o drive supra espinhal, através de alterações no loop tálamo cortical o qual é forte responsável pelas projeções descendentes em direção a medula espinhal (Takakusaki, 2017 (Duncan et al, 2015) e isso pode ser explicado parcialmente pela maior deficiência proprioceptiva desses indivíduos (Tan et al, 2011).
