Aptamers: The Powerful Molecular Tools for Virus Detection

Abstract: Aptamers are short single‐stranded DNA or RNA oligonucleotides selected by the technique of systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX). Aptamers have been demonstrated to bind various targets from small‐molecule to cells or even tissues in the way of antibodies. Thus, they are called chemical antibodies.
