This study reviews the literature on the residence after retirement via Systematic Literature Network Analysis, which consists of the systematic literature review and bibliometric network analysis. There are three research questions, including (1) what the most recent studies are on the residence after retirement, (2) Who the most significant authors, documents, and sources are in residence after retirement, and (3) whether the extant research structure could guide the future agenda for the residence after retirement. Based on the systematic literature review, this study extracts 50 publications from the Scopus database by keyword, document type, source type, publication period, language, and subject area relevant to the residence after retirement. This study analyzes data employing Nvivo, VOSviewer, and SciMAX. The clusters of authors, countries, keywords, documents, and sources linked with relevant studies on the residence after retirement are according to the co-authorship (1) author, (2) country/territory, (3) keyword, and (4) document.

Public-private partnership (PPP) has been positioned as a relevant contracting method for developing large-scale infrastructure projects, which entail potentially high-magnitude negative impacts on the environment. The effectiveness of their Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is crucial to achieving sustainable development of these large-scale infrastructure projects. To unravel the drivers for the EIA effectiveness and the multiple combinations built by the complexity of these drivers, this paper analyzes 28 road PPP projects from Colombia employing a fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) approach. This paper decodes conjectural causal links between specific conditions grouped in superordinate clusters (i.e., consultants' capability, project features, and communities' participation) and EIA effectiveness dimensions (i.e., normative, procedural, substantive, and transactive). Findings revealed that no single combination of causal conditions ensures multidimensional EIA effectiveness. This study demonstrated that EIA effectiveness relies significantly on the integration of specific features of three external stakeholders: consultants, nonpreferred proponents, and communities. This study constitutes the first empirical multidimensional identification of the combination of conditions that generate EIA effectiveness in road PPPs.

Training needs assessment for tourism businesses in Tanzania

There is clear evidence of the skill gaps between the skills offered in training institutions and the skills required by the tourism market in Tanzania. This paper intends to assess training needs among tourism businesses in the country. The study employed a qualitative method in which Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews were conducted among MSMEs in the tourism industry in Tanzania. It involved a total of 117 respondents (63 females and 54 males), with the majority being tourism businesses. The study revealed that tourism businesses have varying levels of basic education, as well as specific tourism education levels. The MSMEs lack different skills and competencies, due in part to their lines of business, the levels of involvement with their business, and customer transactions. There is a need to move towards a more professional tourism business development approach and practice. This can best be achieved when a greater number of tourism MSMEs in the eight tourism sub-sectors from the five circuits work more closely together in formal location-based, cross-sub-sector circuits to gain leverage on their synergies. Also, there is a need to identify tourism skills gaps and propose mitigation measures for capacity-building training initiatives that focus on tourism business development to make Tanzania destination more competitive.
