This study investigates the role of digitalization in preserving the financial stability of trading enterprises amidst rapid and unpredictable economic shocks, with a specific focus on Ukraine, a country frequently undergoing socio-political crises and conflicts with the Russian Federation. Through an in-depth exploration of the theoretical constructs of these businesses, the unique characteristics of their operations and behavior in stable and turbulent conditions are delineated. The impact of contemporary information and communication technologies on the performance of trading enterprises, particularly under challenging management conditions, is scrutinized. Empirical evidence from Ukrainian trading enterprises during crisis periods is analyzed to elucidate the practical implications of their operations under such conditions. A comprehensive examination of recent national economic trends within Ukraine and, by extension, its trading sector, is carried out. Econometric modeling is employed to further clarify the role of this sector in shaping economic progress. The study underscores the significance of digitalization in the operations of trading enterprises. The results demonstrate that digitalization not only bolsters efficiency but also enhances resilience, particularly under unforeseen circumstances. The adoption of digital technologies affords these enterprises new product sales avenues, timely settlement with business partners, and sustenance of their own activities.

This article is devoted to analyzing the problems of adequate provision of economic processes intellectualization at the level of business structures and relevant state policy approaches for developing the intellectual economy in the context of ensuring economic security. First, the dynamics of the main quantitative indicators of intellectualization processes in the progressive countries of the world are analyzed. The relationship between the processes of intellectualization of economic development and the possibilities of ensuring the economic security of the business sector in martial law conditions is substantiated, which involves the direct involvement of the instrumental support of the intellectual economy in order to eliminate existing security challenges and threats. The critical problems of organizing effective processes of economic systems intellectualization at the national economy level in terms of general economic issues, as well as the consequences of the economy functioning in wartime conditions, have been identified. The key resource components of intellectual economy development, which include intellectual potential, information, knowledge, technologies, and creative potential, have been defined and given an extended description. Features of the infrastructural basis formation of effective generation, practical implementation, diffusion, and further development of the identified resource components are described. A detailed description of the key areas of management activity within entrepreneurial entities to intellectualize the main economic processes is given. Finally, a list of priority directions of state regulatory policy in the field of accelerating the intellectualization of economic systems has been formed, covering the most influential aspects of institutional and legal regulation, planning and programming of development processes, information policy, formation of knowledge infrastructure, provision of appropriate organizational and coordination support.

The growth of sustainable development and intellectualization in business is leading to an increase in conflicts within economic systems that require coordination and integration. This article outlines the crucial steps for implementing intellectualization processes to achieve sustainable development. A system comprising interconnected functional aspects has been established. The principles for integrating the intellectual economy with sustainable development within enterprise activities have been determined by examining their fundamental differences. As the key functional aspects of the analytical study, the technical and technological (covers the technological aspects of building a sustainable production and technical environment of the enterprise), personnel (determines the features of an intellectualized approach to personnel management on the basis of sustainability), financial (characterizes the features of cash management based on an intellectualized approach), informational (determines the key characteristics of the functioning of the intellectual approach and sustainable development in the modern information field), political and legal (covers the issues of the normative and legal dimension of the functioning of enterprises and their respective positioning to the problems of intellectualization and sustainability), marketing (characterizes the conjunctural aspects of sustainable intellectualized development of economic structures) and ecological aspects (explains the place of the ecological component of sustainable development in the system of intellectualized development of the enterprise). This article holds practical significance for enterprises striving to strike a balance between efficaciously executing intellectualization processes and ensuring steadfast sustainable growth, as they seek pertinent actionable insights. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the conceptual integration of the basic provisions of the sustainable development theory and economic security of the enterprise with thorough detailing of the relevant provisions in terms of business entities functional components.
