Tourism plays an important role not only as a source of generating revenue, but also is directly linked with the development local people, their growth, and generating employment. There is need for simple tourism to be converted into ecotourism. This will not only transform the place into sustainable city but also help the local people to grow. A survey was conducted in Chandigarh through a structured questionnaire, where the respondents showed significant relation between ecotourism and environmental sustainability, as well as ecotourism and social sustainability.
