Application of different fertilizers on morphological traits of dill (Anethum graveolens L.)

Abstract: BackgroundThe aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of nitroxin biofertilizer and chemical fertilizer on the growth, yield, and essential oil composition of dill. The experiment was conducted under field condition in randomized complete block design with three replications and two factors.ResultsThe first factor was the concentrations of nitroxin biofertilizer (0%, 50%, and 100%) of the recommended amount (1 l of biological fertilizer for 30 kg of seed). The second factor was the following chemical fer… Show more

“…All samples exhibit a broad absorption band centered at 3424 cm À1 , which is due to the stretching of -OH groups, a characteristic of carbohydrate monomers including mannose and uronic acid. [50][51][52][53][54][55] The absorption band at 2922 cm À1 can be assigned to the symmetrical and asymmetrical C-H stretching of aliphatic -CH and -CH 2 groups. The absorption band at 1743 cm À1 is characteristic of CQO stretching, indicating the presence of carbonyl groups in the Aloe vera samples.…”

“…The chain-breaking has a correlation with the amount of antioxidants that are boosted by biofertilizers. Therefore, the measurement of these parameters together can be an interesting way to estimate the antioxidant capacity of a compound 74 .…”

“…The prominent peak at 1725 cm −1 corresponds to carboxylic acid and indicates incorporation of AA onto TKP‐backbone at 1:20 mole ratio. The 1420 cm −1 peak corresponds to symmetric stretches of COO – indicating the incorporation of AA on to TKP‐backbone . Further, increase in intensity of alkyl stretching frequency at 2928 cm −1 can be attributed to the increase in grafting percentage into TKP‐backbone with increasing mole ratio of AA.…”
