To create a completely immersive, highly spatiotemporal, and self-sustaining virtual shared place for humans to play, work, and interact, the Metaverse is an emerging paradigm of the next-generation Internet. Metaverse is transitioning from science fiction to a near-future reality thanks to recent developments in new technologies like extended reality, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.In this study, we investigate the Metaverse, a shared, fully immersive virtual environment that could serve as a model for the Internet’s future generation. Safety, education, games, entertainment, social effects, the economy, ethics, and future issues are just few of the many areas covered. The Metaverse’s innovative tools for communication and collaboration may have a profound impact on people’s daily lives and the way society operates as a whole. However, there are obstacles that must be addressed before it can be implemented. If the Metaverse is accepted, a far different digital future is possible.

This paper provides an overview and analysis of existing biometric authentication methods. Biometric authentication enhances the security of traditional authentication methods by utilizing unique biological characteristics of individuals, such as fingerprints, facial features, or iris patterns, to verify identity. However, implementing biometric authentication may involve initial setup costs for service providers due to the need for specialized hardware and software. Additionally, users may experience some initial inconvenience during the enrollment process to register their biometric data. This paper presents a comparative analysis of the usability of biometric authentication techniques. Initially, a survey of existing work is conducted by comparing techniques, algorithms, and metrics used in research. Later the challenges of the distinct types of authentication techniques are discussed, and their problems are discovered. Subsequently, the findings of a quantitative study based on a are presented, aimed at assessing the usability of those techniques. The findings indicate that authentic biometric techniques are perceived as usable.

Biometric sensing technology has become a frequent element of everyday life as a result of the global demand for information security and safety legislation. In recent years, multimodal biometrics technology has become increasingly popular due to its ability to overcome the shortcomings of unimodal biometric systems. A hunger game search self-attention based Bi-LSTM model (HGSSA-Bi LSTM, Bi-directional long short-term memory) modal is presented in this paper for multimodal biometric identification. For removal of noise (unwanted) the pre-processing stage is used in the initial stage. An extended cascaded filter (ECF) is used with a combination of median and wiener filter in the pre-processing stage. Then, using the CNN model, feature extraction is utilized to extract features from the processed images. After feature extraction, fusing of feature is used with the aid of discriminant correlation analysis (DCA). Finally, the recognition process is performed by using the novel optimized HGSSA-Bi LSTM. The obtained outcome for the developed model is finally compared with other previous approaches such as CNN, RNN, DNN, and autoencoder models and the calculated performance based on accuracy 98.5%, precision 98%, F1-score 97.5%, sensitivity 98.5%, and specificity 99% accordingly.
