Significant interactions were found between APOE alleles, obesity, and lipids in the Tunisian population, which demonstrated in obese subjects (BMI > 30 kg/m 2 ), TG concentrations were significantly lower in individuals homozygous for the epsilon3 allele compared to those with the APOE4 carriers [23].
