In this article, we seek to analyze how the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) communicates on the social network Facebook, considering social responsibility issues. Based on the idea that sport in general, and football, in particular, can play an essential role in social transformation, we try to understand whether football's governing body in Europe has used digital social networks to communicate actions aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To achieve this objective, we use a mixed methodology, which determines the nature of the research as quali-quantitative with the use of the content analysis technique in a particular case study since it specifically analyzes the UEFA Facebook page and 257 publications made during the year 2021. Thus, we seek to understand if the institution plays the game concerning social responsibility and what contents and objectives stand out in this communication.

Descrever os desafios enfrentados pelos(as) enfermeiros(as) da Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) do Distrito Federal considerando o contexto da pandemia de covid-19. Pesquisa observacional transversal, de natureza qualitativa, realizada no âmbito do Distrito Federal de abril a dezembro de 2021. A população do estudo foi composta por enfermeiros(as) em atuação na APS há no mínimo três anos. Para a amostra, foram selecionados sete enfermeiros(as), um de cada região de saúde. Foram excluídos(as) profissionais que possuíssem vínculos por contrato de trabalho ou que estivessem de férias, sob licença médica ou em afastamento temporário de suas atividades. Os(As) selecionados(as) participaram de entrevistas com base em um roteiro semiestruturado. Para o processamento dos dados utilizou-se o NVivo. Adotou-se a análise de conteúdo temática de Bardin. Os (As) profissionais entrevistados(as) manifestaram uma realidade de desafios na busca pela reorganização da dinâmica de trabalho no contexto da pandemia de covid-19, destacando questões relacionadas à força de trabalho, dificuldades inerentes à gestão de pessoas e outras problemáticas. Foi constante a necessidade de inversão do modelo de gestão da agenda das equipes, atuando-se fortemente em estratégias e no atendimento da demanda espontânea, sobretudo para pacientes sintomáticos respiratórios. Alguns desafios já existentes no cotidiano dos(as) enfermeiros(as) se acentuaram consideravelmente durante a pandemia, como o déficit de profissionais, a precariedade da infraestrutura, insumos indisponíveis, a sobrecarga de trabalho, a dificuldade de acesso e adaptação das equipes aos equipamentos de proteção individual e a necessidade da qualificação na inserção de novas práticas e tecnologias no cotidiano de trabalho.

This paper aims to identify the responses that regional institutions (MERCOSUR and the Pacific Alliance) have had to the Covid-19 pandemic. Taking into consideration perspectives from South American Regionalism Studies, the paper analyses the institutional responses of these regional arrangements from the onset of the pandemic in March 2020 up to March 2022. Despite South American regional governance having already been in crisis before the pandemic’s arrival, this paper aims to highlight firstly the incapacity of these institutions to take advantage of previous regional institutional capacities, and secondly that intergovernmental ideological convergence or divergence is crucial to reach regional agreements. The health, economic and social consequences brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic would have been better managed with regional policy co-ordination. First, the paper analyses the situation of regional governance in the pre-pandemic context. Regionalism’s crisis is made manifest on the fragmentation of previous ideological intergovernmental convergence. Subsequently, an analysis centred on the empirical exercise of mapping the MERCOSUR and Pacific Alliance responses will follow. The differences between the two cases’ responses to the crisis and their consequences for regional governance will be highlighted with data from the content analysis strategy used to study the cases.
