“…Firstly, the susceptibility of planktonic M12 GAS to penicillin was confirmed by determining the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) values (data not shown). A MIC and MBC of 0.025 μg/mL was established, which is consistent with the reported GAS MIC and MBC range for penicillin [36,37].
