“…Eighty-three belonging to 12 T serotypes (T1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 22, 28 and B3264) and T untypable (TUT) were isolated from patients with infections including pharyngitis. Twenty-seven made up of nine T types (T1, 3,4,6,8,11,12,22 and 28) and TUT were from soft tissue and skin infections (STSS) and 10 isolates of serotypes T1, T22 and B3264 were from five independent outbreaks (two isolates were from each group) from 1992 to 2002. Isolates were selected to test as many different T types as possible.…”
