“…Since 2003, this originally pristine lake district has displayed signs of eutrophication on some lakes of the NW (e.g., Laguna Vuelta de Agua), changing from crystal clear blue to turbid green waters, with the occurrence of a yellowish-green supernatant, fetid odors, and fish mortality [24].
