When the studies performed on seropositivity in different region of Turkey were evaluated, it was observed that seropositivity for CMV IgM and IgG antibodies varied between 0.2-2.6% and 84-100%, respectively (Table II) (14)(15)(16)(17)(18)(19)(20)(21)(22)(23)(24)(25)(26)(27)(28)(29)32). In our study, CMV IgM seropositivity rates was 1.9% which is similar to the other studies and CMV IgG seropositivity rates was 99.17% which is higher than most of the rates reported in previous studies.…”
