Answer to the criticisms presented by Drs Kato, Lobbezoo, and Lavigne

Reply,We are grateful for the attention paid by Drs Kato, Lobbezoo, and Lavigne to our article (de Abreu et al., 2023). They rightfully point out methodological aspects calling for caution in interpretation. We agree that the trial suffered from a low number of participants. We also agree that the description of the use of composites for establishing anterior guidance left room for misunderstanding. The composites did not change, let alone eliminate, centric contacts.
