Abstract:RESUMO O nióbio é um metal que forma óxido aderente e protetor em contato com o ar, possuindo a propriedade de se autoproteger. O método utilizado para acelerar o crescimento do óxido é conhecido como anodização, no qual o óxido formado pode ser do tipo barreira ou poroso.
