Animal Models for Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Human Disease

Abstract: Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) is an important tick-borne human pathogen endemic throughout Asia, Africa and Europe. CCHFV is also an emerging virus, with recent outbreaks in Western Europe.
