Fluconazole is well tolerated, the most common clinical side effects being nausea and other minor gastrointestinal symptoms [3], Skin reactions due to fluconazole are very rare; they include rashes similar to that occurring with ß-lactam agents, with an estimated prevalence of 4% in some series [4] and cases of angioedcma [5].
