Analysis of the green infrastructure implementation to the enhancement of environmental support capacity (Case study: Watershed outside University of Indonesia)

Abstract: The several things to fulfil human needs are water resources, like household, laundry, industry and agriculture, the activities that reduce the availability of ground water and produce waste which makes the quality of river water decrease. This research was conducted in a catchment area outside University of Indonesia which is included in the Ciliwung watershed area which aims to increase the carrying capacity of water resources by carrying out a Water Governance approach by considering 3 aspects Place, People… Show more

“…The SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) application is a dynamic rainfall and runoff simulation application used to simulate single or long-term events and the quantity and quality of runoff from urban areas. SWMM is widely used to optimize designs, evaluate existing conditions, improve performance, mitigate flood/inundation areas, and implement low-impact development (LID) drainage systems and nature-based solutions approach [13,14,15,16,17] The objective of this study was to analyze the drainage system and evaluate the performance of the retention pond using SWMM 5.1.…”

“…With the rapid expand of economic globalization, the research on the quantity and quality of WR is also increasing with the increase of water shortage, and the concept of CC is introduced into the field of WR [5]. The main representative results are as follows: water availability, water quality, sewage treatment and other indicators are used as the influencing factors of urban WR CC, and the WR CC of different cities is analyzed and studied [6].…”
