The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and distance education perception levels of physical education and sports teacher candidates during the pandemic process. The population of the study consists of teacher candidates (n=908) studying at the physical education and sports teaching departments of the School of Physical Education and Sports and Sports Sciences within the private and public universities affiliated to the Higher Education Institution in Istanbul, and the sample consists of volunteers (n=398) determined by simple random sampling method from this population. In order to collect data, the Google Forms platform was preferred in order to maintain social distance during the pandemic process. During the data collection process, information and questionnaires about the study were communicated to the participants through social networks. Volunteers who participated in the study were asked to fill in the personal information form, academic self-efficacy and distance education perception scales. The data obtained in the study were analyzed in computer environment. Variables are expressed by using mean ± standard deviation, percentage and frequency values. Pearson product moments correlation analysis (r) was applied to reveal the relationships between the scales. For the significance level of the tests, p<0.05 and p<0.01 values were accepted. As a result, it was determined that the academic self-efficacy and distance education perception levels of physical education and sports teacher candidates were above the average. Between the academic self-efficacy and perception of distance education. A low level positive relationship was found. It is thought that this situation is caused by the concerns of physical education and sports teacher candidates, who are accustomed to the face-to-face transfer of knowledge and skills related to the teaching models of sportive skills, to the transition to distance education and to the problems that may occur in this process and not to learn the necessary knowledge and skills related to their professional development. Communication is a powerful tool for the trainer. And the trainers' tool is communication. A good trainer must have good communication skills. The trainers having good communication skills are successful. The propose of this research is to evaluate the effects of different variables (factors) on the trainers' communication skill levels, according to the perceptions of visually impaired athletes. 39 male, 59 female, totally 98 visually impaired athletes from sport clubs in different provinces participated in the study voluntarily. The trainer communication skill scale, developed by Yılmaz in 2008, is a five point Likert type-scale includes 48 items in total and the items of it are expressed as "never, sometimes, very little, quite a lot, always". The total Cronbach-Alpha of the trainer communication skill scale was found to be 0.973. In this study, in which trainer communication skills were analyzed, SPSS 22.00 Program was used, which is used in quantitative research methods. In the study, T test and One Way Variance Analysis (One-Way ANOVA) were used for mean, standard deviation, frequency, independent samples. No significant difference was detected in the communication skills of the trainers according to the variables gender, disability status, sports branch, visual level, year of doing sports, and the year of working with the trainer (p> 0.05). İn conclustion, as a finding of the study, it is observed that the communication skills of the trainers affected all the characteristics of the visually impaired athletes taken place in the training process. Communication is an extremely important and effective tool for visually impaired individuals, as they are visually impaired. Working with a trainer with good communication skills for visually impaired athletes will lead them to success. Communication is their nonexistent eye. They can easily reach the information they need by communicating. Through the communication, their lives get facilitated and they become socialized by entering the society. Since their communication is good, their persuasion power is high. Again, because of their good communication, their education level is high. They can seek their rights and are not dependent on anyone. Thanks to communication, they are free. They have represented our country in the paralympics in various sports branches and have been successful. Because of their good communication, they have made their existence accepted in the society. In the study we conducted, not significant difference was found between the variables because their expectations or emotional thoughts were the same.

Motivação para o sucesso esportivo específico dos atletas com deficiência visual B2-B3

O objetivo deste estudo é examinar a motivação para o sucesso específico do esporte em atletas com deficiência visual, de acordo com diferentes variáveis. Participaram do estudo, voluntariamente, 39 homens, 59 mulheres, totalizando 98 atletas de clubes esportivos com deficiência visual de diferentes províncias. A escala de motivação para o sucesso específico do esporte foi desenvolvida por JD Willis (1982) e o estudo de sua validade e confiabilidade na Turquia foi realizado por Gödelek e Tiryaki (1997). Os resultados mostram que nenhuma diferença estatisticamente significativa foi encontrada de acordo com o gênero, status de deficiência, ramo esportivo, grau visual, ano de prática de esportes e ano de trabalho com o treinador (p> 0,05). Como resultado da pesquisa, este estudo revelou que os atletas com deficiência visual, devido à sua deficiência, evitam o fracasso por provarem a si mesmos ou sentirem sua presença, e que a sensação de fracasso motiva mais os atletas com deficiência visual. Portanto, não foi encontrada nenhuma diferença significativa entre as variáveis.
