Analysis of quality of life among adolescents with epilepsy

Abstract: The concept of quality of life (QOL) in adolescents with epilepsy is different from that of adolescents with other chronic diseases. For epileptic adolescents, QOL is more closely related to depression, anxiety and locus of control. Innovations in surgical treatment have done much to improve these patients' subjective quantification of their QOL.There are unique effects of neuropsychological influences on their self-awareness and self-assessment of QOL.
