Artificial intelligence (AI) comprises various sub-fields, including machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) perform a key role in the transformation of many industries, including education. It changes traditional learning methods by using its Innovative techniques and applications. Using its applications, the teachers may keep track of each student's development, paying close attention to the areas in which they struggle. Many researchers are working with ML and DL to exploit its discoveries and insights. In education, traditional education methods (TEM) are the same for each student, which means each student is taught in the same way as ML and DL, making this process flexible and creative for solving complex problems and enhancing productivity. Nowadays, each institution adopts E-learning methods as the primary way of learning, especially during the pandemic. Despite this evolution of creativity, delivering quality education, making strategies for analyzing performance and future goals, and career counseling for students still pose challenges. The current study aims to offer a complete overview of the significance of ML approaches in online education. To accomplish this purpose, the study synthesizes information from multiple scientific papers that investigate (a) the methodology used to construct learning analysis tools, (b) the key data resources used, and (c) the scopeÂ of data sources now available. This systematic literature review (SLR) examines the research conducted between 1961 and 2022, focusing on various machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques. Its aim is to provide insights into the applications of these techniques and offer optimal solutions to the research questions at hand. We are convinced that our complete assessment will be a dependable resource for the research group in ascertainment the best approach and information source for their unique needs. Moreover, our findings provide valuable insights on the subject matter that could aid the research community in their future endeavors in the related field.

This study demonstrates how significantly the COVID-19 pandemic has affected Bangladesh’s formal education system. Despite the fact that Bangladesh introduced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in educational practices before the pandemic, effective ICT deployment could not be integrated at all levels. Even though online classes and other print- and electronic media-based approaches evolved into the “new normal” in an effort to address the difficulties brought on by the pandemic, both teachers and students have faced and continue to encounter many challenges. A convergent parallel mixed method design was followed for this study. Data were collected from 205 Bangladeshi students and 50 Bangladeshi teachers through semi-structured questionnaires. In addition, 11 parent interviews and 12 Key Informant Interviews were conducted. According to the findings, the lack of proper training for teachers, poor socio-economic conditions, lack of internet availability and speed, the shortage of ICT equipment, students not being technologically exposed, and the disruption of electricity are major issues hindering the fruitful implementation of online education. Creating an ICT framework, providing subsidised internet for students and instructors for instructive purposes, promoting alternative means to carry on formal education, dedicating instruction hours in TV and radio channels, ensuring proper IT infrastructure and tools, and taking initiatives to promote the learning management system can play a significant role in creating the ideal environment to promote online education. In summary, this study suggests a holistic framework to continue formal teaching-learning in different levels of education to achieve sustainable development goals (SDG) without any disruption in emergency contexts such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Virtual simulators of embedded systems and analyses of student surveys regarding their use at the early stage of the process of learning embedded systems, are presented in this article. The questionnaires were prepared in the Polish language, and the answers were automatically translated into English using two publicly available translators. The results of users’ experiences and feelings related to the use of virtual simulators are shown on the basis of detected sentiment using three chosen analysis methods: the Flair NLP library, the Pattern library, and the BERT NLP model. The results of the selected sentiment detection methods were compared and related to users reference answers, which gives information about the methods quality of the methods and their possible use in the automated review analysis process. This paper comprises detailed sentiment analysis results with a broader statistical approach for each question. Based on the students feedback and sentiment analysis, a new version of the TMSLAB v.2 virtual simulator was created.
