Analysis of Grapevine’s Somatic Embryogenesis Receptor Kinase (SERK) Gene Family: VqSERK3/BAK1 Overexpression Enhances Disease Resistance

Abstract: The SOMATIC EMBRYOGENESIS RECEPTOR KINASE (SERK) gene family has been intensively studied in several plant species. Here we confirmed the existence of five SERK genes in grapevine (Chinese wild grapevine V. quinquangularis) and named them VqSERK1, VqSERK2, VqSERK3, VqSERK4, and VqSERK5.
