The aim of this study is to make a methodological and thematic analysis of national and international theses and dissertations on curriculum implementation. The data of this qualitative case study was obtained from Turkish Higher Education Council Presidency Dissertation Center website and Proquest (dissertation & thesis) database. Dissertations are limited between the years 2012-2022 to keep the study up to-date. A total of 54 theses and dissertations, of which 4 were national and 50 were international, were reached as full text. An Academic Publication Evaluation Form is used to collect the data and it was analyzed by content analysis technique. It was revealed that curriculum implementation was mostly studied in the way of asking the opinions, attitudes or experiences of stakeholders about the implementation process. While quantitative and mixed method research desing were preferred in national dissertations, qualitative research design was mostly applied in internatonal dissertations. Accordingly, in national dissertations, convenience sampling, use of scales and questionnaires, descriptive statistics, content analysis, t-test and regression analysis were mostly preferred while conducting the studies. On the other hand, for international dissertations, purposeful sampling, interviews and coding were mostly applied methods. In both national and international dissertations, teachers were the mostly studied group as participants. Findings obtained within the scope of the research are thought to be beneficial in terms of understanding the studies made about the implementation of curricula and giving direction to the future studies to be carried out in this field.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de ortaöğretim matematik öğretim programları ile ilgili yüksek lisans ve doktora düzeyinde yapılmış lisansüstü çalışmaların çeşitli değişkenler bakımından incelenip değerlendirilmesidir. Bu araştırmanın sonuçları, ortaöğretim matematik öğretim programlarının değerlendirilmesine genel bir bakış açısı sağlamasının yanı sıra güncel tez çalışmalarının eğilimlerinin belirlenmesi ve bu sonuçlara dayalı olarak program geliştirme araştırmalarına yol göstermesi açısından önemli görülmektedir. Ortaöğretim matematik öğretim programlarını değerlendirmek amacıyla tamamlanmış lisansüstü tez çalışmaları incelenerek program değerlendirme ve geliştirme süreçlerine yönelik önemli geri bildirimler verilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu nedenle 2015-2022 yılları arası Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nden (YÖK) alınarak incelenen 22’si yüksek lisans ve 5’i doktora tezi olmak üzere toplam 27 tez bu çalışma kapsamında incelenmiştir. İncelenen tezlerin içerikleri, belirlenen kriterler göz önünde bulundurularak kapsamlı bir şekilde analiz edilmiş ve elde edilen tüm sonuçlar Microsoft Excel programında tablolar halinde düzenlenerek yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada doküman incelemesi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucuna göre en çok tez çalışması 2019 yılında yapılmıştır. İncelenen tez çalışmalarının çoğunlukla yüksek lisans türünde yazılmış olduğu doktora türünde ise daha az sayıda çalışma yapıldığı belirlenmiştir. Yüksek lisans düzeyinde en çok çalışma Gazi Üniversitesi ve Akdeniz Üniversitesinde yapılmıştır. Ayrıca incelenen tezlerde en çok nitel yöntemin ve doküman analizinin kullanıldığı, araştırma grubu olarak daha çok öğretmenlerin tercih edildiği ve veri toplama aracı olarak dokümanların daha çok kullanıldığına ilişkin sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre öneriler verilmiştir.
