Analysis of Graduate Theses in Curriculum Development in Turkey (1993-2020)

Abstract: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de program geliştirme alanında günümüze dek yapılmış olan (1993-2020) lisansüstü tezleri çeşitli yönleriyle incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Lisansüstü tezler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen tez inceleme formu ile analiz edilmiştir. “…Aslan and Sağlam (2017) and Taş and Duman (2021) stated in their study, which investigates the postgraduate theses on curriculum evaluation, most of the national theses were studied at master's level. Some other studies in literature also show that national theses are mostly conducted as master's theses ( Avcı & Güven, 2022;Aykan & Çalışkan, 2022). When compared to previous studies in the literature, the number of doctoral theses in this study being close to master's theses is promising in terms of specialization in the field.…”
