This research is motivated by the need for data to develop STEM-PJBL learning models for elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the needs of the STEM-PJBL learning model for elementary school students. This research uses a descriptive method. In the early stages of the research, three objects became the focus: elementary school teachers, syllabi and teaching materials, and elementary school students. Methods of data analysis using Milles and Huberman techniques and data triangulation. The study results stated that the learning process in elementary schools had yet to find learning that linked science, technology, engineering and mathematics. In addition, learning in elementary schools has yet to implement projectbased learning. So it was concluded that STEM-PJBL needs to be developed for elementary school students. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for developing STEM-PJBL learning models for elementary school students.

Objective: Problem solving skills and character education are two important things that should be promoted in Indonesia education system. To promote those two things, an effective teaching model is needed. Thus, this research attempts to analyze the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning with the Tri Kaya Parisudha model to improve elementary school students' mathematical problem-solving skills and character. This teaching model was developed using Balinese local wisdom concept. Theoretical Framework: Some theories were used in this study. They were problem-based learning, tri kaya parisudha, problem-solving skills, and characteristics of young learners. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental approach and involved with 130 students as the study samples. Specifically, the study was conducted by following post-test only control group design. The researchers used questionnaires and problem-solving ability tests to collect the study data. In this study, the questionnaires and post-test results were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Simultaneously, inferential statistical analysis using the MANOVA test was performed. Results and Discussion: The analysis shows that problem-based learning with Tri Kaya Parisudha model effectively improves elementary school student's mathematical problem-solving skills and character. Thus, it is recommended that problem-based learning with Tri Kaya Parisudha model to be used by the elementary schools that have problems in improving their students’ mathematical problem-solving skills and character. Research Implications: Integrating local wisdom in teaching mathematical problem-solving skills and character brings some positive effects for the students. Originality/Value: Local wisdom is normaly considered as something traditional and not compatible with current era. However, this study found that local wisdom, especially tri kaya parisudha concept is still relevant to our current education system.

Creating an independent learning process realized through student-centred learning is quite challenging by many vocational educators particularly in selecting appropriate learning method. Therefore this study was purposed to analyze the effect of self-assessment and students’ learning autonomy towards students’ performance in vocational education. Quasi-Experimental with 2x2 factorial design was used as the research model of this study by involving 60 fourth semester students who took fashion design course. They were selected by using random-matching sampling technique. The data were collected thorough pre-test and post-test in which self-assessment and performance test rubrics were used as research instruments. The obtained data were analysed quantitatively particularly by conducting descriptive quantitative and inferential statistical analysis with the assistance of SPSS.25. The results showed that self-assessment along with the students’ learning autonomy affected students’ performance. Self-assessment improved students’ performance in which it was inseparable from learning autonomy as the influencing factor. In addition, the results drew that students were directly involved in the learning process and self-assessment was maximized by students’ learning autonomy in affecting their performance. The implication of this study strengthens the use of self-assessment and learning autonomy towards students’ performance in fashion design course.
