Analysis of economic viability with the use of monte carlo simulation for microgeneration of photovoltaic energy

Abstract: A series of public policies are being adopted worldwide to seek greater participation of renewable energy sources in the energy matrix. Brazil is a country that has a predominantly renewable energy source, with hydroelectric energy being responsible for the largest portion, but with enormous potential to be exploited for solar energy. The objective of this study was to carry out an analysis of the economic viability of a photovoltaic matrix in the distributed microgeneration model from the residential consumer… Show more

“…According to Kharseh and Wallbaum [57], operation and maintenance represent expenses that occur after installation. For Lammoglia and Brandalise [47], the costs of operation and maintenance are included in the annual operating expense of power generation to cover periodic maintenance, cleaning the surface of the PV panels and other maintenance costs. Furthermore, for Adefarati and Bansal [91], the cost of maintaining the generator is considered proportional to the energy generated.…”

“…Quando se considera que um sistema FV tem um ciclo de vida de até trinta anos, a viabilidade econômico-financeira para a geração distribuída é demonstrada (Lammoglia;Brandalise, 2018). O problema está na viabilidade econômico-financeira com retorno de investimento em poucos anos (Solano; Brito, 2018).…”
