Coal tar, which is coal pyrolysed by-product at over 800°C, usually has characteristics such as molecular compositions of relatively low heterogeneous atoms, high aromaticity, 3~4 condensed aromatic ring compounds, relatively small molecular weight distribution, almost no double bond compounds, and almost no 5 membered aromatic ring compounds [15].
