Analysis of 2013 Curriculum Character Values in Science Learning

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan hanya mengagungkan kecerdasan semata maka akan terjadi krisisnya nilai-nilai karakter bangsa. Dengan adanya perubahan kurikulum pendidikan maka nilai-nilai karakter dapat ditanamkan pada pembelajaran disekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai karakter siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di sekolah berbasis pesantren. Pada artikel ini peneliti penelitian menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dalam artikel ini nilai karakter terdapat adanya perubahan yang signifikan dalam ha pembelajaran IPA di sekolah berbasis pesantren MTs Nurul Falah. Pada nilai karakter kurikulum 2013 dengan kurikulum Inti (KI 1) tentang sikap spiritual dengan nilai karakter religius dan (KI 2) tentang sikap sosial dengan tujuh nilai karakter yaitu, jujur, disiplin, tanggungjawab, toleransi, sopan santun, gotong-royong dan percaya diri memperoleh perubahan yang positif, sehingga penanaman nilai karakter harus selalu diterapkan dalam sikap sosial peserta didik.
