Analiza Parametrów Czasowo-Przestrzennych Chodu Osób Starszych w Aspekcie Treningu / Elders’ Gait Analysis Using Spatiotemporal Parameters in Aspects of Training

Abstract: Streszczenie Wstąp. Cel. Celem pracy była ocena wpływu różnych form… Show more

“…Before designing a kitchen for someone with motor impairment, it is important to consider the following: disturbance caused by intended movements, synkinesis, touch impairments, laterality disturbance, problems with adopting the correct body position, co‐ordination problems, problems with accurate grip, disturbance caused by spacial orientation, motor speech disorders, sensory integration problems. Involutional changes that occur as a consequence of the ageing process, such as a decrease in muscular strength or a decrease in the movement range of joints, can lead to a decrease in locomotion quality, such as a deceleration of walking speed and pace length (Branowski & Gabryelski, ; Fabisiak, Kłos, Wiaderek, & Sydor, ; Marciniak, Wiszomirska, Kaczmarczyk, & Kozdroń, ; Sydor, ). Furthermore, elderly people usually possess a shorter body height, shorter limbs and decreased mobility of the limbs compared with those between 20‐ and 60‐year old.…”
