The problem faced by farmer patchouli in the countryside regarding the lack of capital for farming. Farmer patchouli resolved the problem by choosing a partner with the owner of capital because the process is no capital loan complicated and no use bound contract. Study this aim for knowing pattern partnership and the attachment among capital owner and farmer partner patchouli and knowing income farmer partner and income owner of capital in village Karya Bhakti districts West Kulisusu District North Buton. Karya Bhakti village is the wrong centre for farming patchouli. They were chosen in August-September 2021 as the location for research. The study used 27 respondents as the sample. The research variables in this study are the respondents' age, education, farm experience and family dependents—the partnership pattern between the owner of the capital and the farmer. Attachment of capital owner to patchouli farmer is trust, networks and norms. Technical data retrieval is done by observation, interview and summarizes the answer. Analysis data used descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. Partnership systems applied by capital owners with farmer partners in village Karya Bhakti tend to follow a pattern of cooperation in operational agribusiness (KOA). Owners of capital and farmers have rights and obligations. The obligation and right of the capital owner are to provide capital loans and receive farmer crops. The farmer's obligations are to receive capital loans and provide land and crops to the owner capital. The entanglement is influenced by the existence of social capital, which consists of trust, network, and norms so that the partnership can continue. Partnership by owner capital and farmer is based on mutual trust.

Garlic demand in Indonesia reaches 500,000 tons yearly and 82.5% supplied from importation. This problem could be addressed by increasing national production. However, garlic production is very dependent on seeds availability, therefore efforts to produce high quality seeds is a must. One of the efforts is through developing certified garlic seed producers. This research aims to study efforts by Assessment Institute for Agricultural Technology (AIAT) West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia in empowering growth of new certified seed producers in Lombok Island. Data obtained through in-depth interviews with existing seed producers, new seed producers, community leaders and garlic farmers during 2017-2018. The results showed that formation of two new certified seed producers could increase the coverage of farmers who are assisted from the previous 10 to 20 farmers per group who have a commitment to work together to sell their garlic seeds. Seed producers can be a communication channel that increases farmers' knowledge on garlic cultivation because of an increasingly extensive network and sources of information. Supervising process to new certified seed producers enabling them to produce high quality seeds. In addition, certified garlic seeds produced are easier to recognize by buyers and able to penetrate national market with competitive prices.

The seed farming is a promising business that can be a solution to increase farmers’ income. However, limited capital, narrow land, and limited human resources and technology often become obstacles for farmers, especially small farmers, in running their business. Partnership patterns between rice seed farmers and partner companies can be a solution to overcome these problems. This study aims to determine the effect of partnerships on the level of profitability and farmer income. The research was conducted in Subang Regency, Indonesia. Samples were taken as many as 50 rice seed farmers. The analysis carried out includes cost analysis, income and profitability analysis. The results showed that rice seed farmers who have partners are more profitable than farmers who are not partners. This can be seen from the value of the R/C ratio in the farms of partner farmers, which is greater than that of non-partner farmers. Partner farmers have an R/C value of 1,3 while non-partner farmers have an R/C value of 1,14. When viewed from an income perspective, the income of partner farmers is higher than that of non-partner farmers. The income of the partner farmers is IDR 8.803.095, - while the non-partner farmers’ income is Rp. 4.154.691, -.
