The aim of this study was to describe the research results related to students’ mathematical literacy analyzed based on their learning style or cognitive style. The method used in this study was Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The sample was 27 articles consisting of 18 and 19 articles about students’ mathematical literacy based on: learning style and cognitive style, respectively. The samples were articles indexed in SINTA, published in 2018 until September 2022 and located in Indonesia. The description in this study will be reviewed based on the journal indexes, year of publication, methods used, level of education, number of subjects, research locations, and the theory used both in the learning style and cognitive style. Through the SLR method, it was found the articles were dominantly published in SINTA 4, there were a decreasing and increasing in number of articles published in SINTA, qualitative method was dominant followed by mix method and quantitative method, the research conducted in junior high school was dominant, 18 out of 27 researches used more than 30 subjects, the research was dominantly conducted in Java, De Porter Hernacki theory and Witkin Goodenough were dominantly utilized in learning style and cognitive style research, respectively.

This study aims to describe the mathematical literacy of Indonesian students based on research articles published in the last decade. This study used a systematic literature review method by collecting 163 relevant journals and then re-selected to meet the inclusion criteria and the criteria for assessing the quality of study results. It was found information on the development of research analyzing the mathematical literacy of Indonesian students starting from elementary school, junior high school, high school, and College Level. The literacy level of students at the elementary level is still considered low, while at the junior high school level it is assessed from various perspectives ranging from the low mathematical literacy of students to the factors that influence it. At the high school level, students' mathematical literacy is also still low even though a mathematical literacy test has been carried out in the Indonesian context. Finally, mathematical literacy at the university level is found that different student learning styles will go hand in hand with different mathematical literacy abilities.

Students’ abilities are low in multiplication material, especially in math story problems. This will cause difficulties in solving story problems, students will experience difficulties and mistakes because students are not careful in reading and understanding sentence by sentence. The aim of this research is to describe what difficulties students experience in solving mathematics story problems and the efforts that can be made to overcome these students' difficulties. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were 3 class III students at UPT SDN 200 Gresik who were selected based on test results by dividing the criteria as high, medium and low. The data collection techniques used were written tests, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, for the validity of the data using triangulation, based on the research results, there are still many students who have difficulty working on math story problems. It was found that students who had difficulties generally belonged to students who did not master good problem solving and determining arithmetic operations that were appropriate to the problems in math story problems. According to findings in the field, it can be concluded that students have several difficulties (1) difficulty understanding concepts, (2) difficulties in calculations (3) process skills
