Dulangeya Village is one of the coastal villages in Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province which has mangrove ecosystem potential. This study aims to identify mangrove species and analyze the community structure of mangrove ecosystems in Dulangeya Village, Botumoito District, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research was conducted in January-March 2023. Data taken include species density, relative density, species frequency, relative frequency, species closure, relative closure, and importance value index. The method used was direct observation. Data collection on mangrove vegetation was carried out using 100m long line transects at 4 stations. Each transect consists of plots with a size of 10x10m. The results showed that there were 7 types of mangroves found in Dulangeya Village. Tree level density is classified as moderate and for sapling and seedling level is classified as good. The highest species frequency for tree level is Rhyzopora apiculata, while for sapling and seedling level is Ceriops decandra. The Importance Value Index (IVI) for the tree level obtained values ranging from 5.247 - 127.159. This shows that mangrove trees have a fairly important value for the lives of the people of Dulangeya Village.

Different characteristics of mangrove habitat will have different water conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of mangrove habitat waters at different mangrove densities in Eyat Mayang Village, Lombok Barat Regency. Observation of mangrove density and characteristics of the waters was carried out in each sample plot using the grid line method. The tree parameters observed included the type and number of trees in the 84 sample plots. Parameters of mangrove habitat waters observed included temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen (DO) and mud thickness. Mangrove density is divided into 3 criteria based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 201 of 2004. Furthermore, statistical analysis was carried out to assess differences in water characteristics at 3 mangrove densities using one-way analysis of variance with a level of 5% (significance 0.05) with SigmaPlot 11.0 software. The results showed that the sparse, medium and dense densities had an average temperature range of 29 ºC, a pH value of 6.8 – 7, a salinity in the range of 35‰, DO 4.8 – 5 mg/l and a mud thickness of 72 – 91 cm . The mangrove area of Eyat Mayang Village has 77.1% sparse tree density, 20% medium tree density and 2.9% dense tree density. The results of statistical analysis using the ANOVA test showed that there were no significant differences in the parameters of temperature, salinity, pH, DO and mud thickness at 3 different density of mangrove trees.

Morfometri daun merupakan rasio antara panjang dan lebar daun yang menjadi salah satu indikator kesehatan mangrove. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan variasi morfometri daun Rhizophora mucronata di Pulau Temudong dan Pulau Keramat, Desa Labuhan Bajo, Kecamatan Utan, Sumbawa. Penentuan titik sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Daun yang diambil sebanyak 40 helai yang memiliki bentuk sempurna. Pengukuran tangkai daun di Pulau Temudong antara 2,1-4 cm, pada Pulau Keramat berkisar antara 1,9-3,9 cm. Morfometri daun di Pulau Temudong dan Pulau Keramat diperoleh sebanyak 2 variasi. Variasi Morfometri yang berkisar antara 1 hingga 2 menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kesehatan Rhizophora mucronata pada kedua pulau tidak mengalami gangguan berdasarkan morfometri daunnya. Hal ini didukung oleh kualitas air di kedua pulau yang mendukung pertumbuhan mangrove. Di pulau Temudong diperoleh suhu 29,9-34°C; pH air 7,6-7,8; salinitas 30-32 ppt; dan DO 2,15-3,24 mg/l. Sementara di Pulau Keramat diperoleh suhu 29,4-29,9°C; pH air 7,29-7,24; salinitas 30-32 ppt, dan DO 2,26-4,31 mg/l.
