Analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi segiempat dan segitiga

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa  materi segiempat dan segitiga berdasarkan tahapan Polya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII J SMPN 1 Kotabaru Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020, yang dikelompokan menjadi 3 kategori yakni tinggi dengan Skor ≥ Mean + 1 SD, kategori sedang M – 1 SD ≤ Skor < M + 1 SD, dan kategori rendah dengan Skor < M – 1 SD. instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan wawancara. “…Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh (Khairunnisa et al, 2019) menunjukkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik masih dalam kategori rendah karena peserta didik belum bisa memahami masalah terlebih dahulu dan kurang mampu untuk memeriksa kembali jawaban yang diberikan oleh guru.
