Analisis Karakter Kerja Keras Siswa Kelas VII C dan VII E SMPN 1 Kota Jambi

Abstract

This study purposes to analyze the character of the hard work of students of class VII C and class VII E SMP Negeri 1 Jambi City. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods. While the type of research used is observation with a test assessment instrument in the form of a questionnaire with hard working character variables. The subjects of this study were students of class VII C and VII E SMP Negeri 1 Kota Jambi, with a total number of respondents as many as 61 respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the study stated that the character questionnaire of hard work of students in class VII C on average belonged to the category "Good" with a percentage of 81.3% of statements answered well by students and 6.3% of statements answered badly by students. While the results of research in class VII E on average belong to the category "Good" with 65.6% of statements answered both by students and 3.1%, answered not well by students. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that students of class VII C and class VII E in SMP Negeri 1 Kota Jambi have had the character of hard work in the learning process.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganlisis karakter kerja keras siswa kelas VII C dan kelas VII E SMP Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi dengan instrument penilaian tes berupa angket dengan variabel karakter kerja keras. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII C dan VII E SMP Negeri 1 Kota Jambi, dengan jumlah total responden sebanyak 61 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa angket karakter kerja keras siswa kelas VII C rata-rata tergolong dalam kategori``Baik'' dengan persentase 81,3 % pernyataan dijawab dengan baik oleh siswa dan 6,3 % pernyataan dijawab dengan tidak baik oleh siswa. Sedangkan hasil penelitian pada kelas VII E rata-rata tergolong dalam kategori``Baik'' dengan 65,6 % pernyataan dijawab baik oleh siswa dan 3,1 %, dijawab tidak baik oleh siswa. Berdasarkan hasil angket tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik kelas VII C dan kelas VII E di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Jambi telah memiliki karakter kerja keras dalam proses pembelajaran.
