Tindak tutur pada dasarnya merupakan kalimat yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu tuturan agar maksud dari tuturan tersebut dapat diketahui oleh pendengar/pembaca. Hanya saja tidak semua siswa mampu memahami makna dari sebuah tindak tutur, sehingga dibutuhkan kajian yang kusus untuk mengkaji tindak tutur yang digunakan oleh sebuah cerita/film. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk untuk menggali bentuk tindak tutur yang terdapat pada cerpen “I Bojog Tekĕn I Kedis Sangsiah”. Penelitian ini tergolong kedalam jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pustaka dan teknik baca. Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan hasil penelitian terdahulu. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerpen “I Bojog Tekén I Kedis Sangsiah” menunjukkan tindak tutur lokusi yakni tuturan I Kedis Sangsiah dengan bangga menyatakan dirinya memiliki rumah dari hasil jerih payah sendiri. Tindak tutur ilokusi ditemukan tuturan dari I Bojog kepada I Kedis Sangsiah yang sombong, menyatakan dirinya mampu membuat rumah mewah. I Bojog menginginkan respon dari I Kedis Sangsiah. Tindak tutur perlokusi ditemukan pada tuturan I Bojog berusaha membela diri dengan keadaannya, menceritakan leluhurnya berjasa terhadap Batara Rama yang mampu mengalahkan Prabu Rahwana di kerajaan Langkapura. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat dikatakan bahwa dalam cerpen “I Bojog Tekén I Kedis Sangsiah” terdapat tiga tindak tutur yang digunakan, diantaranya adalah tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi.

This study aims to 1) describe the forms of imperative speech acts found on banners and billboards, and 2) identify their relevance as junior high school teaching materials. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data source used comes from banners and billboards. Data collection techniques used are note-taking techniques and documentation techniques. The analysis technique in this research is descriptive technique. The findings obtained are 1) there are forms of speech acts on banners and billboards that are on the road in the form of a) imperative speech acts meaning invitation totaling 3 speech, b) imperative speech acts meaning orders totaling 3 speech, c) meaningful speech acts appealing totaling 1 speech, d) meaningful speech acts congratulating totaling 4 speech, and e) meaningful speech acts persuasion totaling 3 speech. 2) there is relevance to SMP teaching materials, namely the text of posters and advertisements listed in KD 3.3 and 4.3 in the 2013 curriculum.

Imperative of Request of Indonesian and Japanese Language

The research aimed to find the imperative of requests and their politeness in the Indonesian and Japanese languages. It also aimed to analyze the similarities and dissimilarities between both languages. The method applied in the research was comparative studies. The data on both languages were collected from novels, movie dialogue, email, questionnaires, SNS (LINE, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook), and daily conversation corpus. As a result, the request markers "tolong" and "mohon" change an imperative into requesting expression. "Boleh" and "bisa" are necessary to construct an interrogative imperative of request. On the other hand, in the Japanese language, there are onkei hyōgen (~te kureru/~te kudasaru/~te morau/~te itadakeru) and ganbō hyōgen (~tai, ~te hoshii). It also has positive (masu), negative (nai/masen), assertive (masuka/desuka), and tentative (deshōka) forms. In the Indonesian and Japanese languages, commanding has the lowest politeness, followed by requesting expression. The permission request is the politest. Also, the imperative of request shows modesty and does not strongly force the audience. The imperative of request in the Indonesian language is a command that got request markers "tolong" and "mohon" to soften the command intention. On the contrary, the Japanese separate the imperative of command and request forms.
