Awareness and the need for authentication or assurance of the authenticity of halal foods is a challenge in many countries, especially in Muslim countries. So, many countries where the majority of the population is Muslim are quite strict in ensuring the sale and purchase of meat, especially in traditional markets. Therefore, this study aim is to find a system to identify the types of meat from the image, such as the initiation of the manufacture of practical technology for the authentication of halal products. In this study, the box-counting method was used to determine the fractal dimension value of the identified animal flesh image. The container counting method uses the texture of the animal’s meat that has unique characteristics of each type. The results of the identification of the animal meat obtained were 24 tests which were correctly identified from a total of 36 test data. This translates into a 66,67% success rate for the system.

Durian is a popular fruit native to Southeast Asia, even labeled as the king of fruits. Currently, both fresh and processed durians have been very well received by the public in both local and export markets [1]. However, it is not uncommon for durians purchased in poor quality, such as bland taste, rotten, or immature [2]. Therefore, a method to identify the quality of durian is needed. One of the durian elements that can be used to identify its quality is the shape and texture of its outer skin. The object discussed in this paper is the relationship between the fractal dimensions of durian skin image and the sugar content of durian flesh. Its fractal dimensions are searched using the box-counting method. The box-counting method is used to calculate fractal dimensions with the fractal object placed in a box area. Then it is calculated by how many boxes are needed to cover all the fractal parts. The relationship was then analyzed using the coefficient of determination. The results of the analysis produce an R-Square value of 0,029333. The R-Square value obtained shows that the fractal dimension of the texture of the durian skin does not significantly affect the sugar content of the durian flesh.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mempelajari kinerja pesawat mamografi dalam menganalisis perbedaan densitas rata-rata pada sampel A, B, C, D, E, dan F dengan objek pasien normal, phantom, dan jaringan jeruk berdasarkan hasil radiograf pesawat mammograph Diagnost AR. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengambilan data diantaranya pengamatan secara tidak langsung dengan mengambil data pasien, pengamatan secara langsung dengan objek phantom dan jaringan jeruk menggunakan pesawat mamografi, serta pengamatan untuk menganalisis densitas menggunakan alat densitometer. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan dua proyeksi yaitu proyeksi cranio caudal (CC) dan mediolateral oblique (MLO) Densitas rata-rata pada sampel A dan B (pasien) menggunakan proyeksi CC sebesar 0,48 dan proyeksi MLO sebesar 0,76. Pada sampel C dan D (phantom) menggunakan proyeksi CC sebesar 0,60. Pada sampel E dan F (jaringan jeruk) menggunakan proyeksi CC sebesar 0,76.
