An Overview on Ashwagandha: A Rasayana (Rejuvenator) of Ayurveda

Abstract: Withania somnifera (Ashawagandha) is very revered herb of the Indian Ayurvedic system of medicine as a Rasayana (tonic). It is used for various kinds of disease processes and specially as a nervine tonic.
