This case study investigated the difficulties faced by an English teacher in implementing the scientific approach at one selected school in the district of Agam in West Sumatera, Indonesia. This qualitative research used semi-structured interview questions and an observation checklist as the instruments, with an English teacher as the data source. This study showed that the selected secondary English teacher in MTsN 3 Agam encountered eight significant difficulties in dealing with the implementation of stages of the scientific approach based on the 2013 curriculum in classroom activities. The English teacher’s difficulties included: (1) to determine the object that will be observed; (2) to determine how the way data recorded; (3) encouraging the students to ask; (4) to make the various media as the information resources; (5) deciding the duration of students to do the experiment activity; (6) to divide the time for evaluation; (7) to organize the student to analyze; (8) encouraging the student to present their work in front of the class. This study serves as a reminder for the preparation suitable strategies needed in adapting not only to the general teaching process, but also to the possible changes in the curriculum.

This present R&D study aims to develop a digital model of millennial entrepreneurship in universities attached to the Information System Design Analysis course with 4C competencies (Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking, and Creativity). The problem is that students only make software to fulfill course assignments without thinking about the usefulness of the software they produce as a means of digital entrepreneurship. The research method used was a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages: Definition, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The literacy model testing carried out showed that the average score was 0.840, which stated that the model was distributed as valid and doable to use. The average results of the practicality assessment of the operation of the Digital entrepreneurship literacy model grounded on the perception of the experimental class scholars were 87 in the practical order. The results show that the digital entrepreneurship model encourages students to open businesses using information technology. The development of this entrepreneurship digital learning model can train students to have an entrepreneurial spirit. In addition, it can improve students' skills in 21st-century literacy.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan e-learning serta untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam penerapan e-learning pada pembelajaran kimia di SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Haji. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode penentuan ELR berdasarkan model ELR Aydin dan Tasci dengan empat faktor, yaitu manusia, pengembangan diri, teknologi dan inovasi. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 302 siswa dengan jumlah sampel 75 siswa kelas X dan XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Haji yang diambil secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kesiapan e-learning pada pembelajaran kimia yang ditinjau dari empat faktor pengukuran memperoleh skor ELR 3,93 yang artinya siap dengan penerapan e-learning namun memerlukan sedikit peningkatan. Faktor manusia memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,06, faktor pengembangan diri memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,84, faktor teknologi memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,00 dan faktor inovasi memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,82. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Haji termasuk kedalam kategori siap dalam penerapan e-learning pada pembelajaran kimia, akan tetapi masih membutuhkan sedikit peningkatan pada setiap faktor-faktornya terutama pada faktor pengembangan diri dan faktor inovasi.
