In this paper, scenarios of the built environ ment of a coastal town-Cro mer are developed via using an innovative Agent-Based Model (ABM), wh ich distributes housing demand based on algorithms describing interactin g agents at the local and regional levels and taking account of the different socio-economic futures, and a CA spatial model is developed in a VR-GIS integrated environment, which is used as the 3D v isualization engine to distribute the increased housing demand exp licit ly to 3D geographical space, which is real-wo rld GIS data based. The scenarios can be used to better understand and estimate the regional climate changes, urban-rural temperature shifts and biodiversity etc..Keywords-Agent based model, CA, urban dynamic simulation, scenario I.
