“…Multinuclear Mn-based clusters are extensively used as nodes to construct CPs in the fields of catalysis, magnetism, proton conduction, and so on due to the unique electronic and magnetic properties of the Mn atom. So far, a series of CCPs such as {Mn 12 } n , {Mn 13 } n , {Mn 18 } n , and {Mn 19 } n have been successfully developed. All these Mn-based CCPs share many features including the employment of non-aqueous solvents in their synthesis and the use of organic ligands as the linker.…”

“…Manganese (Mn) ions owing to their variety in valency and coordination numbers make the Mn-based compounds exhibit interesting structures, such as chain-like 1 and wheel-like, 2,3 as well promising applications in the proton exchange membrane, 4,5 catalysis, [6][7][8] adsorption and so on. 3,[9][10][11][12][13][14][15] Moreover, since the discovery of the rst case of single-molecule magnet behavior (SMM) in the compound Mn III 8 Mn IV 4 in 1980, 16 Mn-based compounds have played an active role in the eld of magnetism.…”
