An efficient protocol for the synthesis of substituted 5‐amino pyrazole bearing benzo[d]imidazolone Core and their antioxidant activity

Abstract: An efficient, facile and regioselective route has been utilized for the synthesis of novel series of 5-(5-amino-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-1,3-dimethyl-1,3-dihydro-2Hbenzo[d]imidazol-2-one derivatives (5a-l). The methyl 3,4-diaminobenzoate (1) used CDI/DMF system for the cyclization to benzimidazolone followed by Nmethylation and next ACN/n-BuLi media at À70 C to afford high yielded key intermediate, 3-(1,3-dimethyl-2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-5-yl)-3-oxopropanenitrile (4).
